Estrellita Redmon, MD

President

Dr. Estrellita Redmon is the President of Phoebe Physicians. She is a primary care physician who, before joining the Phoebe Family, served as the Chief Clinical Officer for Ascension Healthcare in north Florida.  During her nine years with Ascension, she held various clinical and operational leadership roles, guiding more than 900 providers in a large region that included nine hospitals.

She holds a Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Tallahassee, FL, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.  Dr. Redmon completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Virginia Affiliated Hospitals in Roanoke, Virginia, and she has maintained her board certification in internal medicine.

Dr. Redmon is a published author.  She has written a memoir about her son’s successful battle with leukemia and a novel about a physician serving his small, rural hometown.  She was attracted to Phoebe by our mission, vision and values and our commitment to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to everyone who needs our services.
