Physical Therapy

Physical therapy provides specialized training in functional mobility, balance, endurance, active and passive range of motion and safety practices.

The focus is on skilled gait training, bed mobility transfers, strengthening and therapeutic exercises, proper application and use of prosthetic devices and transfer training from various surfaces and heights.

A patient’s deterioration, caused by inactivity, can usually be alleviated through the rehabilitation services of a qualified physical therapist working in the home.
