Phoebe Sumter Primary Medicine
Phoebe Sumter Primary Medicine (PSPM), formerly Ellaville Primary Medicine, is led by Samantha Montgomery, FNP-C and Julie Oliver, PA.
While many rural populations have to travel to find quality health care, this is not the case for the people of Schley County and surrounding communities. In 1994, Phoebe Sumter Medical Center established Phoebe Sumter Primary Medicine (then known as Ellaville Primary Medicine Center) to give local residents a choice in their own community.
Our Mission
To provide care for the people in Schley County and surrounding communities with services for the entire family with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention services.
PSPM Staff and Services
The PSPM staff is active in assessing and treating the health care needs of the community. Located north of Americus on U.S. Highway 19, Phoebe Sumter Primary Medicine offers many health care services to residents of Schley County and surrounding communities. Common acute and controlled chronic diseases as well as child checks, family planning and pre-employment physicals are among the clinical services offered.
With our bilingual (Spanish/English) health care team, PSPM outreach workers provide interpretation and case management services to seasonal and migrant farm workers in Schley County and surrounding communities.
