Stroke Is No Joke - Women's Conference in Americus

Phoebe Sumter Medical Center's fifth annual Women's Health Conference will take place on Saturday, May 17, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Student Success Center on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University.

This year's main topic will be "Stroke is No Joke", as we will have a number of physicians talking about the dangers of stroke and ways to prevent stroke. In addition there will also be free testing (blood pressure, BMI, glucose and cholesterol and diabetes. Local vendors will be at the conference and folks who attend the conference will also be able to participate in Zumba demos.
