Phoebe’s 2013 Jingle Bell Jog to benefit Children’s Miracle Network

ALBANY, Ga. – The 26th annual Jingle Bell Jog, an annual event that promotes healthy individuals and benefits Children’s Miracle Network, will kick off Saturday, Dec. 7 at 8 a.m. at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital’s HealthWorks, 311 W. Third Ave.,

The Jingle Bell Jog 10K starts at 8 a.m., the toddler trot starts at 8:30 a.m., the 1-mile walk starts at 9:15 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. The races will follow a route through Albany’s scenic Rawson Circle area.

Registration fees through Dec. 6 are $25, and $30 on race day. All funds raised will be used to benefit children in Albany through the Children’s Miracle Network. One hundred percent of every dollar raised through the Jingle Bell Jog benefits Children's Miracle Network at Phoebe and is used to purchase equipment and provide education to help ill and injured children in Southwest Georgia.

Each participant will receive a Jingle Bell Jog long-sleeved t-shirt. Also, awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. The Jingle Bell Jog is an affiliate of Run & See Georgia and boasts a USATF Certified Course.
