Class: Saturday All-Day Childbirth Class

Saturday All-Day (Weekend) Childbirth Class

The Saturday All-day (Weekend) Childbirth Class is a one-day condensed version of the six-week childbirth class. The class, led by a trained childbirth instructor, is a great way for the expectant couple to prepare for labor and birth in a shorter timeframe. The typical class consists of an overview of labor, the birth process, breathing and relaxation techniques, comfort measures, coach’s role and expectations, newborn initial care, and the care of the mother during postpartum.

The goal of the class is to provide you with information to minimize your fears and help you make informed decisions. You'll also learn techniques to help you relax and cope.

A free guidebook is provided. Please bring 2-3 pillows to class. Class size is limited to eight couples, and everyone has a break for lunch on their own during the weekend class. Please register early!
